About Brooke

My goals as a teacher are to help singers 1) discover the capabilities of their unique instrument, 2) experience greater confidence in their vocal performance – whether that’s on stage or within the private performance walls of their own shower, and 3) connect and inspire communities and families through music.

Brooke Williams' love for music began as a three-year old little girl singing with an exaggerated vibrato in the concert hall of her own home. Since then she has thrived on developing her skills as a musician through private vocal studies with renown vocal instructors including Dean Kaelin, Wendy Parr, Jeffrey Skouson, Linda Tomkinson, Kathy Kennedy, Spencer Welch, and others; piano and guitar lessons; and numerous performance opportunities in musical theater, choral, christian, classical, pop, and rock genres.

Some of Brooke’s highlights in her musical career include a summer spent as a missionary for her church specifically to perform religious and family-focused entertainment, her role as Salome in the Christmas production of “Savior of the World,” and her performances in Ash Lawn Opera’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors.”

Brooke is committed to providing the best vocal instruction for clients. She is currently a certified instructor with the Institute of Vocal Advancement (IVA) and an accredited member of International Voice Teachers of Mix (IVTOM). Additional vocal education includes seven years certification as a Speech Level Singing instructor and a music minor from Brigham Young University (BYU).

Brooke graduated from BYU in 2010 with a B.S. in Business Management, emphasis in Finance. The analytical skills gained through her studies have helped her not only run a better studio, but also learn how to notice the individual details of a person's voice and guide them in making a plan for their artistic progress. Throughout her education, her focus was to strengthen her abilities as a vocalist and singing teacher. For over fifteen years, she has taught singers, newer and experienced, in various styles, and looks forward to teaching any student willing to develop their talent.

Brooke is the mother of four beautiful children. She loves helping them discover the world around them and enjoy good music. She lives in Libby, MT with her family, where they enjoy exploring nature, trying their hand at homesteading, and skiing together.

IVA is an international organization of singing instructors committed to healthy singing and ongoing vocal education. Teachers are held to a high standard of excellence and must complete annual education hours of private studies with mentor instructors, fulfill reading and vocal pedagogy studies, attend or view the organization-wide teacher conference, and pass annual testing with a master teacher.
